02Featured Work

Secure Communications for Galileo

C++17 · CMake · TCP/IP · UDP · Google Test

Cryptographic library and distributed end-to-end emulation system for ESA's Galileo constellation. Led the software architecture from scratch — use cases, UML design, and full technical documentation.

FCAS Simulation Environment

C++ · HLA · Real-Time Distributed Systems

Simulation platform enabling realistic training scenarios and operational analysis for the FCAS programme, with HLA-based real-time communication between distributed simulation scenarios.

04Experience

Software Engineer · Secure Communications — Cipherbit S.L.

ESA Project — Galileo

  • Developed a C++17 cryptographic library (CMake) implementing client-defined algorithms for secure communications, integrated into a larger system.
  • Designed and co-developed a distributed system of multiple services over TCP/IP and UDP, emulating secure end-to-end communication scenarios.
  • Led the software architecture and system design from scratch — use cases and UML diagrams (sequence, activity, component, class) with Enterprise Architect.
  • Applied design patterns and best practices to ensure modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Contributed to verification and validation with test definition and implementation using Google Test.
  • Produced extensive technical documentation in English covering design, implementation, and validation.

Flight Simulation Software Engineer — Indra Sistemas S.A.

  • Developed the simulation environment for the FCAS platform, enabling realistic training scenarios and operational analysis.
  • Integrated HLA-based architectures supporting real-time communication between distributed simulation scenarios.
  • Contributed to high-performance C++ systems ensuring reliability and scalability in complex simulation environments.
  • Provided cross-project support in critical situations, leveraging deep system knowledge and prior implementations.
  • Managed Git workflows: branching strategies, complex merge conflict resolution, and multi-developer integration.

Automation Intern — Equinix Inc.

  • Developed automation solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Supported deployment and orchestration of containerized distributed systems.
